Our commitment is to promote a sustainable society, leading globally in green chemistry and sustainability in all areas of our group. Since our very beginning, we have worked hard to promote an ecological industry, producing a wide range of 100% sustainable products. With a presence in more than 40 countries and various fields, our mission is to offer solutions that respect the environment and promote a greener industry.
We have more than 120 years of experience in the production of starches, a key and renewable raw material for eco-adhesives. For decades, we have promoted sustainability with a range of products based on natural resources, working intensively for green chemistry to replace petroleum-derived products with green alternatives. Our achievements reflect our commitment to a sustainable future.
We support all sustainable development goals, any proposal or initiative aimed at improving sustainability and the search for solutions for continuous improvement, as well as new tools that allow for more efficient management of resources at international or national level.
Our corporate group works on integration as a daily strategy with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. With our corporate activity, we contribute to the improvement of our society, sustainability and the environment.
Environment
We prioritize direct and indirect environmental protection. We have green chemical production centres certified according to ISO 14001, and we use environmental management practices that optimize resources, promote the circular economy and involve our employees in the responsibility of meeting our sustainability goals.
Ecological products
We focus on replacing synthetic products derived from petroleum with sustainable and biodegradable alternatives. An example of this commitment are our ecological adhesives (Green Adhesives) under the STARGUM®️ brand which offer better performance than traditional adhesives, at a lower cost and with minimal environmental impact.
SUSTAINABLE FUTURE
We are committed to a future in which packaging is completely biodegradable and free of fossil-based adhesives.
We have led the change towards recyclable paper and cardboard packaging, and we collaborate globally on projects that seek a more ecological and sustainable production cycle.

Safety and health
JP&SB INTERNATIONAL has a permanent commitment to health, well-being and education to support our workers in their work performance based on a structure that manages risks and opportunities in terms of OSH (Occupational Safety and Health).
Our main objective is to provide safe and healthy workplaces.
Continuous training
The companies in the group are externally audited on their Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS). Through constant training and improvements, we seek to prevent risks and protect the safety and health of all employees, with the goal of achieving 0% accidents.
Safe equipment and spaces
The personal protective equipment (PPE) used is provided by the company. All work stations are previously evaluated through external audits to ensure health and safety at work.
